We’re Dancers, Organiser and Festival goers
Adam has been dancing since the early 2000s and has been part of Salsa Liverpool for the past eight years. He’s run classes, organized events, led performance teams, and spoken at trade events with CEOs from companies like Ticketmaster and Eventbrite. With a background in building online platforms since 1996, Adam also supported large-scale events, managing over 1,500 attendees multiple nights a week at student unions.
While Adam loves the parties and classes at congresses, he finds the ticketing process unnecessarily complicated—booking tickets for Croatia feels harder than doing his tax return. With Dance Engine, he’s working to simplify things for organizers and attendees so everyone can focus on the fun bit.
Connor has been dancing since 2017 and was a key member of the University of Liverpool Salsa Society, where he helped relaunch the group after COVID. He’s worked on the Liverpool Latin Festival rebrand, competed at the World Championships for Rueda de Casino, and supported the Merseyside Latin Festival since 2023 with ticket sales and fulfillment.
Currently pursuing a PhD in Accelerator Physics, Connor combines his technical expertise with years of programming experience, including collaborations with CERN. He’s passionate about improving processes to ensure events run smoothly, letting the joy of dancing take center stage.
